Love and Pancakes

So I woke up this morning, there was a voice in my head that wouldn’t shake loose.

And I made pancakes. But not just ANY pancakes. They were perfect.

Like golden, fluffy, light and airy, circular pancakes. Like the kind you might find in the store, they looked so good.
All because I decided to make them “with love”.

    Beautiful! Remember to do with love. To nurture. I wonder how different the world would be if everyone just attempted to do that. Not even succeeded, but just the attempt. It’s definitely something to aspire to.

      That’s it exactly. The funny thing was that the first two pancakes, I didn’t even think were all that special. I thought I got lucky (another lesson). Even before I recognized them as “perfect” tho, I was feeling good about myself. So I think you’re right about the reward being in just the attempt – not necessarily in the outcome alone.

      When I’m paying attention to God’s little messages, I often am surprised at how well stuff turns out. Did this video in one take – which also NEVER happens for me. :-)

      Like I said, LOTS of lessons today.

    Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been feeling really overwhelmed lately with all the projects I’m working on, and the joy was beginning to drain from my work. I really needed to hear this. Do everything with love.

    I want pancakes like that!! :D  

    I love how lessons come to us in times where we don’t even expect them to. Life is so full of goodness and wisdom.
